Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death for Canadian men and women. As a matter of fact, every seven minutes, someone in Canada dies from heart disease or stroke. To help change that, COLE staff participated in the Big Bike Ride in support of the Heart and Stoke Foundation.

Organized by our Young Professional Group (YPG), a team of 18 riders raised over $1,100 and enjoyed a sun filled afternoon biking around Main Street Unionville. A fantastic opportunity to get out and support our community, the day was surely one to remember, full of laughs, comradery and ice cream!

A big thank you to all those who supported our fundraising efforts, for more information on the Hearrt & Stroke Foundation please visit www.heartandstroke.ca
